- Work using the MyWebCad server alone or in a group. Multiple users may edit the same file at the same time.
- See changes made by other users in your group as they happen in real
time. Be able to immediately work off other users work. A
user in Hong Kong can be designing a kitchen while a user in Miami draws
in the outside deck. Using the chat feature collaborate with each
other about the drawing progress as it happens.
- Create a friends list and give them permission to access your files.
Either view only, redline or edit.
- Enter Project Manager Mode and direct your groups attention to
certain areas in the file.
- Print to Scale. Print accurately on multiple pages using multi
page printing if your printer is not large enough.
- Files are stored on the server, not on the client making backup much
simpler.

- Access your files from anywhere you have an internet connection.
- Works with huge real world cad files. MyWebCad was designed
with performance in mind. By utilizing cpu power on the client and
not simply sending everything to the server for processing, the server
is not bogged down. Therefore many clients can be attached to one
server before server degradation occurs.
- All files are saved in industry standard file format. Can be
saved as AutoCAD or Microstation files locally to your machine if you wish.
- MyWebCad server Software is free to all educational institutions and non
profit organizations.

locally the cad file is stored on you machine. There is no interaction
with the MyWebCad server. This is the simplest way to work.
